SCynergy 2026: Shaping Europe’s tech future

Be part of Europe’s forum where top minds in AI, quantum and supercomputing converge, hosted in Luxembourg’s dynamic innovation ecosystem.

02/02/2026

SCynergy 2026 takes place on 14 and 15 April at the Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce. Set in one of Europe’s most agile innovation hubs, the event demonstrates how AI, supercomputing and quantum technologies are creating tangible impact across sectors. Building on its 2025 debut, which welcomed over 480 participants, 60 speakers and experts from 15 countries, the 2026 programme turns insight into action across cybersecurity, the green economy, healthtech, finance and startups.

The conference was created to bridge the gaps within the high-performance computing (HPC) ecosystem offering a shared forum where researchers, industry leaders, policymakers and end‑users engage meaningfully. This matters because AI, HPC and quantum no longer evolve separately. Their combined potential is what drives the next wave of digital innovation.

In just five years, we have witnessed a remarkable evolution in supercomputing in Luxembourg. While numerical simulation was the bulk of the demand five years ago, over the last two years we have seen a soaring demand in AI and lately quantum needs are accelerating.”

Turning digital potential into practical solutions

SCynergy aims to reinforce European technological sovereignty, accelerate adoption of advanced technologies in key sectors and unlock technology synergies boosting new collaboration opportunities among key economic players to generate new market opportunities. Through case studies, expert insights and strategic debate, it provides a clear view of what is possible today and what lies ahead.

Attendees gain access to sector deep dives in cybersecurity, sustainability, healthtech, finance, space and the startup ecosystem, where discussions go beyond theory to explore how these technologies can be used in practice. Keynotes and panels highlight concrete use cases while hands‑on training sessions, including exclusive access to the MeluXina supercomputer, give participants practical skills.

To truly empower businesses to embrace these technologies, access to funding and support instruments is crucial. Luxinnovation plays a key role, guiding companies to identify and successfully navigate the right funding instruments for their specific needs.”

Connecting tech innovators to accelerate progress

For tech companies of all sizes, SCynergy is an essential platform to build relationships and multi-level partnerships that accelerate projects in AI, quantum and HPC. Participants benefit from targeted connections and insights into practical applications and exposure to the community shaping Europe’s technological future.

The collaborative spirit of the 2025 edition, which included 10 intensive workshops and 25 sessions, demonstrated the appetite for partnerships and concrete solutions. By bringing together researchers, business leaders, policymakers and European institutions, SCynergy enables companies to cut through complexity, validate technologies and identify new market opportunities.
