As AI scales across your organisation, align usability, accessibility and AI compliance from day one.

Usability, accessibility and AI compliance

Design AI your users can trust and regulators can verify. We combine usability testing, accessibility reviews and AI compliance support, aligned with EU rules and sandboxes, to reduce risks and accelerate approvals. You get practical assessments, evidence packs and ongoing guidance to launch and operate trustworthy AI in Luxembourg and across Europe.

Our support, and why it matters

As AI systems move from pilot to production, user experience, accessibility and regulatory assurance become critical. Our services help you classify risks, design appropriate safeguards, gather evidence and validate your solution with competent authorities and regulatory sandboxes. We integrate user-centred methods, helping you improve acceptance while strengthening compliance documentation.

However, EU requirements now arrive in stages, and organisations need clarity. The EU AI Act entered into force on 1 August 2024, with obligations phasing in over 2025–2026; prohibitions and early measures already apply. We align your roadmap with these milestones and national guidance.

For Luxembourg-based projects, we facilitate access to the technical AI sandbox of the Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST) through the LIST AI sandbox and the SnT. Furthermore the Luxembourg AI Factory can facilitate access to the regulatory sandboxes (Article 57 of the EU Act) provided by the National Commission for Data Protection’s (CNPD), to help you understand regulatory compliance and data-protection implications of AI before market entry - reducing rework and accelerating go-to-market.

We also offer you access to sovereign infrastructure (MeluXina-AI) and partner toolkits for assessment, explainability and risk testing so your evidence is generated in secure, purpose-built environments.

How the Luxembourg AI Factory helps

  1. Regulatory alignment and evidence: technical assessments and clear guidance mapped to EU AI Act obligations and GDPR.
  2. Proactive risk management: ongoing support to identify and address issues early, not after deployment.
  3. Trustworthy-by-design: governance controls, model documentation and monitoring baked into the lifecycle.
  4. User-centred validation: usability and accessibility assessments for interactive agents, chatbots and decision aids.
  5. Sandbox engagement: technical support when interacting with authorities and regulatory sandboxes.
  6. Sovereign compute: secure environments to generate test artefacts and reproducible evidence.
