AI Talent Matchmaking
As part of Luxembourg AI Factory, the University of Luxembourg, in collaboration with the Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce, is organising an AI Talent Matchmaking Event.
Are you a PhD student or early-career researcher working in AI, data science, computer science, cybersecurity, finance or related fields?
Luxembourg AI Factory, in collaboration with the Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce, is organising an AI Talent Matchmaking Event on 9 October 2026 from 9:00 to 12:00 at the Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce.
The event will bring together emerging AI talent and companies working across finance and cybersecurity to connect, exchange ideas, and explore potential career, research and collaboration opportunities.
Through short company presentations, structured matchmaking sessions and informal networking, participants will have the opportunity to meet companies directly, showcase their expertise, learn more about how AI is being applied in industry, and explore potential career, research and collaboration opportunities.

Complete the Call for Participants form before 9 September and tell us about your expertise and interests.
Places are limited. Participants will be selected based on profile relevance and alignment with the event focus and participating companies’ needs.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
- Be a PhD candidate or an Early Career Researcher (defined as having completed their first doctoral degree (PhD or equivalent) no more than seven years before the application deadline).
- Be affiliated with a research institution located in Luxembourg or the Greater Region.
- Be available to participate in the full event programme.
Selection Criteria
Applications will be assessed based on:
- Relevance of expertise to the industry challenges and themes addressed during the event.
- Motivation to participate and engage with industry partners.
- Potential contribution to industry problem-solving, innovation, or knowledge exchange.
- Academic and professional achievements relative to career stage.
