Agentic AI Solution Development and Assessment

Develop intelligent multi-agent systems that cooperate and coordinate to solve complex, multi-step business problems, using techniques such as multi-agent orchestration, low-code/no-code, RAG and KG-RAG.

What it is and why it matters

Agentic AI refers to intelligent systems where specialised AI agents cooperate and coordinate to solve complex, multi-step business problems. Unlike traditional single-task AI, these solutions leverage a network of agents that can reason, use tools and share knowledge to achieve a common objective, with a high degree of autonomy under human supervision.

As AI adoption matures, organisations increasingly need systems that can handle dynamic, multi-step tasks that go beyond what a single model can manage. Agentic AI solutions enable this by combining specialised agents that collaborate, adapt and operate across complex workflows, reducing manual effort and enabling new forms of automation across business functions.

How can Luxembourg AI Factory help

Through Luxembourg AI Factory, the Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST) and the Interdisciplinary Centre for Security, Reliability and Trust (SnT) at the University of Luxembourg support organisations in designing and developing agentic AI solutions tailored to specific business challenges.

LIST offers flexible project engagements built around established open-source tools, including the BESSER Agentic Framework (BAF) — a low-code, Python-based framework for building multi-agent systems using domain-specific language definitions and seamless integration with AI and natural language processing (NLP) libraries. LIST also draws on expertise developed through collaborative projects including MOSAICO and Chat4EFL.

SnT supports longer-term, multi-year research and development (R&D) engagements where deeper scientific collaboration is required to develop novel agentic capabilities.

What you can expect

  1. Use case definition and scoping
Work with experts to define the business problem, identify the most relevant agentic approach and determine the appropriate techniques, including RAG, KG-RAG, multi-agent orchestration or low-code/no-code methods.
  2. Early prototypes of AI models for target tasks
Receive initial prototypes demonstrating how specialised agents can address the defined use case, using relevant data and the selected technical approach.
  3. Access to open-source agentic tools
Benefit from expertise in open-source agentic frameworks, enabling development that avoids vendor lock-in and supports transparency and reproducibility.
  4. Flexible or long-term R&D engagement
Choose between LIST's flexible project format for shorter engagements or SnT's multi-year R&D model for more complex or research-intensive requirements.

Who it is for

This service is available to startups, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), large companies and public administrations.

It is particularly relevant for organisations seeking to automate complex, multi-step processes or build AI systems that can reason, coordinate and act with greater autonomy under human supervision.
